      Organised by the Europan Commission, the European Development Days (EDD) bring the development community together each year to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. 

      For its thirteenth edition, EDD 2019 aims to bring together the European Union's commitment to address inequalities with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. EDD 2019's overarching title is "Addressing inequalities: building a world which leaves no one behind".  

      The two-day event will host more than 8,000 participants from 140 countries worldwide, representing 1,200 organisations from the development community, including Heads of State or Government, leading experts, key influencers and young leaders.

  • Reducing inequalities: a catalyst for economic growth, poverty reduction, and ensuring that no one is left behind
