7th East Africa Regional Philanthropy Conference will look at some of the innovations of the philanthropic sector that are worth considering and learning from as part of the way forward to the future of philanthropy.

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to test the resilience of communities and institutions. The Africa Resilience forum presents an ideal opportunity for stakeholders to pool resources and discuss these critical issues.

With no vaccine for the climate crisis, and no herd immunity for inequality, the 2021 EFC Annual Conference will look at ways for philanthropy to help catalyse a more holistic response to the vast challenges that still lie ahead. 

The Mérieux Foundation's grants program contributes towards financing projects that aim to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. The projects including as beneficiaries mothers and children will be given priority.

The SVRI supports research to improve prevention and response to forms of violence driven by gender inequality in low and middle-income countries - a major public health concern and human rights violation.

In 2015, the GCSP and its Geopolitics and Global Futures Programme established a prize in order to recognise deserving individuals or organisations that have an innovative approach to addressing international security challenges.
