The SDG Philanthropy Platform, led by the United Nations Development Program and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, in partnership with Oak Foundation, is hosting an interactive workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on 7th – 8th June 2018 at Shangri-La in Bengaluru, India.
Day1
The objectives of the workshop on 7th June from 1:30 to 4:30 pm are to:
-
Explore how foundations can scale their impact by using the SDGs as a planning and collaboration framework. The organizers will share the Platform’s Collaborative Pathways approach, as well as build on the research from the Scaling Solutions to Shift Systems initiative, which provides a framework for foundations to collaborate and use systems approaches.
-
Learn from analysis of examples in India about how foundations and networks are collaborating to scale impact.
-
Identify how systems transformation levers – like public policy, new technologies, social movements, and shifting market and investment behavior – can induce exponential rates of progress toward the SDGs.
