On the margins of the 73d session of the UN General Assembly, the SDG Philanthropy Platform in partnership with the UBS Optimus Foundation, the British-Asian Trust and Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, hosted a round-table discussion on Innovative Financing for the SDGs. More than 60 representatives from government, philanthropy and private sectors were convened to discuss high-level trends on private financing approaches that complement both official development assistance and philanthropic grantmaking, progress on Development Impact Bonds for education in India and Social Impact Bonds in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
