    The National Community Foundations Forum (NCFF) is Australia's premier conference for Community Foundation practitioners and other change-makers focused on place and local communities. It has been held annually for about 15 years.

      Co-hosted by Australian Community Philanthropy and the Fleurieu Community Foundation, this year the Forum will gather from October 29 - 31 in Goolwa in South Australia on the lands of the Ngarrindjeri people, the traditional owners of the lower Murray River, western Fleurieu Peninsula and the Coorong.

      This year’s Forum theme "Better Together" affirms the central role of collaboration and solidarity in community philanthropy. At the Forum, we will explore how we can work better with different partners to strengthen the local impact for our communities, and how community foundations can work more closely together as a sector to amplify our collective voice and visibility.

     The National Community Foundations Showcase also invites all Community Foundations to share stories about the great work they do in their local communities that illustrates one of the following key elements of community philanthropy in action: collaboration, community leadership, impact and innovation.

      The program aims to:

  • Honour community foundation sector history by showcasing the sector’s work and impact in all its diversity;

  • Create an opportunity to share stories and case studies of collaboration, community leadership, impact and innovation;

  • Publicly acknowledge and celebrate our often un(der)recognised work;

  • Provide an opportunity for ACP and its members to reach out to the media, our key stakeholders and the public to profile the vital work of community foundations around Australia.

  • The showcase entry is your opportunity to share with sector peers what is most meaningful to your Foundation and your community in the work you do.

      All entries will be displayed at the National Community Foundations Forum to profile the great work that community foundations do right around Australia in building better communities to inspire Forum participants and offer an opportunity for peer learning.
