The African Union’s Agenda 2063 calls for inclusive growth and sustainable development brought about by the optimization of Africa’s resources for the benefits of all Africans. It includes specific goals and targets on regional integration, movement of people and the implementation of existing normative frameworks on the continent. There is a good match between Agenda 2063 and Ghana's Medium-term development plan, the GSGDA II, which provides a strong basis for quick integration and “localization” of Agenda 2063.
