Description
To enhance the philanthropic investments in the national plan for the SDGs, a study was commissioned to better understand the philanthropy landscape in Ghana and explore existing opportunities for engagement within the development space.
Impact Achieved
There are several areas that the SDG Philanthropy Platform is focused on: making philanthropic investments a key part of the national development policy, creating a clear legal framework for philanthropy in Ghana, providing tax incentives for philanthropy, and strengthening registration and annual reporting mechanisms.
