I am Solomon Yaw Dartey, a Final year PhD Student of the School of Creative Arts, UEW - Winneba. My research topic is SDGs: Advocacy, Devising & Folklore. The focus of the research is to use Devised Theater (an aspect of Directing) to develop a model for propagating the Sustainable Development Goals using folklore as stimuli. This project focuses on Goals 3, 6 & 15. The research used La-Nkwantang Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA) - a cosmopolitan community as it's lab-site and engaged with some members of the community.
The final project is on Thursday 27th June, 2019 @ 11am. The venue is La-Nkwantang Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA) Hall adjacent the Madina Social Welfare School.
